SPACEJUMP is a selfmade game I created for a course on my masters named Programming for Designers. SPACEJUMP is inspired by a flash game called Winterbells which I loved to play when I was younger.
In SPACEJUMP the player uses their mouse to control an astronaut. The astronaut needs to jump on the stars to accelerate upwards. The player has to avoid the planets and the moving UFOs on the way in order to reach the next level. There are five levels in total. The score adds up if the player completes all the levels in a row, but resets if a level is restarted.
I have coded SPACEJUMP in Processing and created the 2D assets by developing 3D models, animating them and printed out the animations in low framed png sequences.
